It has been two years since the first round of the Polkadot Crowdloan.

On October 24th, we will witness a large unlock of locked DOT in the first batch of the Polkadot Crowdloan. To celebrate this, Bifrost has specifically prepared the Polkadot Unlock Harvest Campaign, with surprises in store for your upcoming big unlocked DOT!

The Polkadot Unlock Harvest campaign consists of a warm-up phase and a formal phase. The warm-up phase is currently underway and will end at 12 p.m. on October 23rd, UTC. The formal phase will begin at 12 a.m. on October 24th, UTC.

Formal phase period: October 24th, 12am - November 22nd, 12pm UTC

During the formal phase, the focus will be on obtaining Raindrops. Raindrops are the tokens that can be earned in the Polkadot Unlock Harvest campaign, and they can be obtained through various methods.

After the campaign ends, Rewards will be distributed proportionally based on the Raindrops obtained by all participating users.

How to Obtain Raindrops

• Base Raindrops: If you participated in the first round of Polkadot Crowdloan, you can claim 2000 Raindrops directly as Base Raindrops.

• Invitation Raindrops: Once you have claimed Base Raindrops, you have the option to invite other eligible friends to claim them as well. If the invited person successfully claims Base Raindrops, both you and the invitee will receive an additional 1000 Raindrops as invitation rewards. (Note: If an invitation relationship has already been established during the warm-up phase, the rewards will not be counted again during the formal phase.)
• vDOT Minting Raindrops: You can stake DOT and mint vDOT through Bifrost’s Liquid Staking Dashboard. If your DOT is still locked in the Crowdloan and in a redeemable state, Bifrost provides a convenient portal to withdraw DOT and mint vDOT with just one click.

For each minted vDOT, you can receive a minimum of 300 Raindrops and a maximum of 435 Raindrops. Specifically, the reward for each minted vDOT is calculated as (1 + buff coefficient) * 300 Raindrops, with the buff coefficient ranging up to 45%.

Raindrop Buff Coefficient

The Raindrop Buff Coefficient is determined by the specific amount of DOT you participated in during the first round of the Polkadot Crowdloan. If you qualified for the special airdrop during the warm-up phase, your Raindrop Buff Coefficient will increase by an additional 10%. Additionally, if you have linked your Bifrost address holding Raindrops in Discord, your Buff Coefficient will increase by 10%.

Conclusion

During the Polkadot Unlock Harvest Campaign, if you have obtained Raindrops, you will be eligible to receive substantial rewards after the campaign ends on November 22nd.

The amount of Raindrops you have will determine the size of your rewards. These rewards will be released gradually over a three-month period, with weekly distributions.
