Introducing OpenGov On Grill: The Final Step Of OpenComm
Governance proposals on Polkadot can now be viewed and discussed on Grill’s OpenGov page!
Polkadot’s Open Communication Layer, built on Subsocial, has finally been completed, with the release of support for OpenGov on Grill. This comes as the final feature outlined in Polkadot Referendum #119.
Proposals can be viewed with their descriptions, and provide an overview of how the vote currently stands, including the approval and support numbers.
Comments on proposals are aggregated from both Polkassembly and Subsquare, letting you see all of the discourse around every proposal!
Clicking Show all comments will open the chat sidebar, where you can view comments from Polkassembly and Subsquare in the Other Sources tab, view comments made on Grill directly, and leave your own comments on the proposal. The layout is still being experimented with and may change.
In the future we hope to see proposal discussions in the ecosystem united more fully, with Grill comments visible on both Polkassembly and Subsquare as well. For now, Grill provides an easy way to see the whole conversation around a proposal, and remember, proposal comments on Grill can receive rewards when they are liked!
Check out the active proposals on Grill and leave some feedback. Are you AYE or NAY?
