Bifrost Partners with NFT Protocol RMRK to Facilitate Parachain Bidding by Distributing Limited NFTs

We’re proud to announce a collaboration between Bifrost and RMRK’s Kanaria.

Kanaria is a fundraiser for the RMRK Association, which distributes unique NFT eggs that will hatch into unique and rare Kanaria birds (canaries) with special upgradable traits. These birds are meant to be limited-edition NFTs (max 9999) that can evolve with the platforms around them, and offer permanent platform benefits to their holders, based on some traits they own. They also entitle their owners to a fairdrop of $RMRK tokens.

Bifrost and RMRK have collaborated to combine Bifrost and Kanaria’s feature set and extend Bifrost-bonuses to existing and new Kanaria bird owners. Specifically, anyone participating in Bifrost’s crowdloan with at least 10 KSM will be able to use the same crypto address to claim a special Kanaria trait — a child NFT that can be equipped onto one’s Kanaria bird, and which will give the owner platform bonuses all across Bifrost like increased APY, higher derivatives interest, priority farming, and more.

Additionally, anyone who buys a bird via Bifrost’s Kanaria link has a special chance to sit beside Odin himself. Two of such birds will become Huginn and Muninn, Odin’s ravens.

These birds will have an additional advantage and special VIP bonus on Bifrost: powerful bonuses to DeFi farms which stack and increase with $RMRK tokens in the user’s balance.

Note: 1 rare and 1 Limited Edition will become these birds. If no rares are sold thorugh the Bifrost link, then 2 LEs will become the birds.

Don’t wait! Get your birds now and join Bifrost’s crowdloan!

About RMRK

RMRK an association registered in Zug, Switzerland, spearheading the development of the RMRK protocol for creating highly composeable “art legos” using NFTs on Kusama natively.

Among others, RMRK brings the following features to the NFT table:

  • emoting to NFTs on chain

  • custom burn messages

  • NFTs owning NFTs

  • NFTs that have conditional rendering (if this, show that)

  • NFTs that have slots for upgrades

  • NFTs that have multi-resources (i.e. contain both code for a game and high-res cover art)

  • NFTs that can be governed as DAOs

It thereby far exceeds what the current ERC721 standard and matching ERC1155 and their derivatives can do.

For this reason, RMRK launched its own set of standards and is rapidly expanding across the Kusama chain sisterhood into dapps, platforms, and chains launching in this ecosystem.

What is Bifrost?

Bifrost is the Polkadot Ecological DeFi basic protocol. It is committed to becoming an infrastructure for pledged assets to provide liquidity. Bifrost launched derivatives vToken for Staking and Polkadot Parachain Slot (Crowdloan). It has obtained $2.15M in fund-raising from NGC, SNZ, DFG, CMS and other institutions and Web3 Foundation Grant. It is also a member of Substrate Builders Program and Web3 Bootcamp.

vToken can optimize transactions in multiple scenarios such as DeFi, DApp, DEX, CEX, and realize the transfer channel of pledge rights such as staking and Crowdloan through vToken, realize the risk hedging of pledge assets, and expand scenarios such as vToken as collateral for lending, its staking reward part of the interest can be offset to achieve low-interest loans.
