April 2024 In Review
April saw UX updates, new features, and more community tools released on Grill. Let’s take a look!
Login Flow & Energy Updates
Last month had two UX updates related to user accounts. First, the “Connect via Polkadot” option has been returned to the front of the login flow, making it clear and easy for Polkadot users to log into Grill. Second, Polkadot users will now spend energy from their main account, allowing them to properly view and manage their energy balances at the Energy Station.
Creator Chats
Creators can now set up a chat in their space, providing a great place to stay in touch with their communities, and increase interaction. Head over to your space to create your chat, and let your community members know!
OpenGov On Grill
Marking the final feature of Polkadot Referenda #119, Grill now supports Polkadot’s OpenGov system! Users can view proposals and comments, see voting information, and more.
Show Yourself
A new featured chat was launched on Grill to provide new creators with another way to get more eyeballs on their content! The “Show Yourself” chat is dedicated to high quality posts, helping great creators rise up the Hot Posts ranking.
Progress on Grill and Subsocial continues, but what UX improvements would you like to see next?
